Age Groups & Formats
7th-8th graders: 10 v 10 - Full Field or 6v6
Middle school players will using full field NFHS rules. Players will learn specific positions (attack, midfield, defense & goalie) and teams will focus on full field scenarios included offensive & defensive schemes.
5th-6th graders:
8v8. This is played on a smaller field, but uses similar rules as full-field: long sticks, off-sides, face offs and more.
6v6. Small field, all players play all positions. Focus is on fundamentals, teamwork and fast paced play with short-sticks only.
We will divide teams based on experience after our Evaluation Days in December.
2nd/3rd/4th: 6v6
This fast paced, short field version of field lacrosse lets players get more experience, more positions, and more touches on the field than full field. This is a fantastic option for all levels of players as it increases fundamental skills and field awareness.
All players will use a short stick for this league (no long sticks allowed). It's 5 short sticks + a goalie with substitutions on the fly. So much fun!
