KG-8th Grade (New younger Freshman Beginner's Welcome)
OCLC Boys Beginner Lacrosse Clinics introduce young athletes to lacrosse in a fun, supportive environment. The program is designed for new players and multi-sport athletes who want to develop fundamental skills and prepare for future team play.
Clinic Schedule
Kindergarten–4th Grade
Thursdays: 4:00–5:00 PM
Sundays: 3:00–4:00 PM
Location: RSM Central Park
5th–8th Grade
Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 5:00–6:00 PM
Location: Trabuco Hills High School
Players will learn:
Cradling and stick control
Passing and catching
Shooting fundamentals
Footwork and athletic movement
Field awareness and basic game concepts
Teamwork and communication
Program Goals
Introduce beginners to lacrosse in an enjoyable environment
Develop confidence, coordination, and fundamental skills
Prepare players for possible winter or spring league play based on their development and readiness
Help older players prepare for future middle school, high school, or club seasons
Create a clear pathway from beginner instruction to team play
No previous lacrosse experience is necessary.
